How to Turn Any TV Into a Digital Sign

If you already have a TV, you're most of the way to a digital sign. Arka Connect adds the missing piece — a cloud dashboard for content, playlists, scheduling and screen monitoring — so a compatible existing display can run digital signage without new dedicated hardware or a technician visit.

What you need

No new hardware required.

You need two things: a display, and a supported player connected to it. Arka Connect currently runs on Android TV, Android Box, and Fire TV — if you already own one of these for anything else, it can run your signage too.

The workflow

From idea to screen in six steps.

01
Create content
Upload the images and videos you want to display.
02
Organize media
Keep everything in one shared media library.
03
Build playlists
Combine content into a playlist you can reuse across screens.
04
Schedule content
Decide what plays, and exactly when.
05
Publish to screens
Push a playlist to one screen or every screen at once.
06
Monitor screen status
Check which screens are online from the dashboard.
What you can display

One dashboard, several use cases.

Staying online

Keeps playing through a dropped connection.

Each screen caches its last-synced content, so a temporary internet drop doesn't blank it — it keeps playing what it already has. As soon as the connection returns, it picks up whatever you published while it was offline.

Monitoring

See screen status in real time.

Every screen reports its status based on its last check-in, so you can see what's online and what needs attention without visiting the location.
